Kevin K Howell, D.O. FACOOG
Dr. Howell graduated with honors from Brigham Young University in 1982 and entered Medical School at North Texas State University in Fort Worth, Texas. He was the recipient of several awards in Medical School and graduated in 1986.
He served his Internship at Tulsa Regional Medical Center from 1986 to 1987 and then began his Residency Program which went from 1987 to 1991. During his Residency he trained at Harvard Medical School, and was also the recipient of the Felix Rutledge Fellowship at MD Anderson Hospital in Houston, Texas. He served as the Chief of Residents in his final year of Residency and won several research awards during his training. It should be noted that Dr. Howell is Board Certified.
Following his training he moved to Antioch, CA and practiced in private practice for four years before moving to Grand Junction. Since establishing a practice in Grand Junction he has been awarded the prestigious “Top 100 Physicians” in the country twice. He has also been awarded a citation from Congress.
Dr. Howell has dedicated his practice to help improve the lives and health of women in the Grand Valley for the past 13 years and has privileges at both Family Health West, St. Mary’s Hospital and Community Hospital. He has served as Chief of OB/GYN, Chief of Surgery, and Chief of Staff.
Dr. Howell lived in Spain for a two year period and is fluent in both English and Spanish.
Patrick S. Pevoto, M.D. FACOG MBA
Dr. Pevoto brings additional expertise to our mission of meeting the changing health needs of women through specialized care. Dr. Pevoto has been practicing obstetric and gynecologic medicine for more than 30 years, most recently with Delta County Memorial Hospital. He is a graduate of the University of Texas at Austin receiving a Master of Business Administration (MBA) in 2002 from the McCombs School of Business; his MD degree in 1983 from the University’s Medical Branch in Galveston; and a Bachelor of Science degree from the University’s College of Pharmacy in 1979.
Dr. Pevoto is married and has four children. In his spare time he is an avid musician playing guitar, banjo and piano. He also enjoys taking time out for tennis and golf.
He has privileges at Colorado Canyons Hospital & Medical Center (Family Health West) and St. Mary’s Hospital.
